In a new film Nancy Kozikowski discusses her influences:

Strongly influenced by Pablo Picasso in her color & design choices and minimalistic 
style, she was also influenced by his lifestyle: “He bought a castle, loaded it with artwork until it was full, and then he bought another one.” says Kozikowski, She also identifies with Marcel Duchamp and his step into absurdism.

In a new film, artist Nancy Kozikowski talks about her "Theory of Patterns" a concept which will manifest in a large scale show of paintings in 2018. In the film she discussed the events that guided her along the way and the catalyst that led to to the biggest challenge she's ever undertaken.

Nancy is exploring the idea of infinite subconscious patterns that move through time and space, roadmaps, neural nets, a multiplicative oneness, She also explores ancient traditions in architecture, tombs, robes, sacred items, as they evolve and sometimes they are reflected in her abstract expression, tapestry weavings, acrylics and silk.
